If we try to describe, explain or define logic programming, it can be stated, described or defined simply as a computer programming which works with the usage of normal life’s mathematical logic. If we go through the background of this programming type then we come to know that logic is actually used in the programming language which is recognized as declarative representation language and is used in model-generator or you may say theorem-prover just in intention to solve problems.
Actually the tasks related to problem solving category are split in two types i.e. programmer and model-generator or you may say theorem-prover. Programmer is responsible for programs’ truth that is expressed in different forms of logics and model-generator or you may say theorem-prover is responsible to solve any kind of problem in an efficient way.

However, if the definition of logic programming is provided or given in the narrower sense then it can be described, defined or explained as the logic which is commonly used in both languages that are known as procedural as well as declarative representation language. This definition of logic programming is most commonly used to explain this programming type and is understood widely as well in computer field.

Number of implementations or you may say achievements were raised in first and comparatively wider sense by logic programming for the first time in year 1964 of Fischer Black and then in year 1965 and 1969 of James Slagle and Cordell Green respectively when some systems that are known as question-answering systems were made in the advice-take spirit of McCarthy.
