World Wide Web is known across the globe with its abbreviation i.e. www. It is recognized around the globe being a global medium of accessing Internet by any users living every where on the Earth through its computer if the Internet is connect to its computer. Though the same term is also described as the synonym to describe the word Internet but it is not a right thing and is mistakenly used which should not be.
But it is to understand all those that World Wide Web (Web or www) is actually nothing itself but a service that can be used only after connecting your computer with the Internet just like another service which is known as e-mail service. One thing must be noted by everyone that the history of the World Wide Web is much younger than the history of the Internet as the journey of Internet started far beyond this service.

There is a potion in any Web address which is known as the portion of hypertext and the history of this portion is very complicated. The concept to have a system, which is known as a global information system to be used in every single home all over the world, was derived from a short story whose name was “A Logic Named Joe” and it was written by Murray Leinster.

This short story surfaced in year 1946. It was shown in that short story that there was a computer like terminal in almost every house that was shown in that story and the name of that computer was “logic”. It gave the concept of having an information system that could be used as a global information system at every house on the Earth.
